Homeopathy has been on the scene of alternative healing for over 200 years. It is a healing treatment that seeks to rebalance the body's total functioning by correcting energetic imbalances that lie at the root of symptoms. Homeopathic treatment begins by addressing the totality of your expression, so it considers mind, body, and emotions combined. Homeopathy is a practice that uses infinitesimal doses of natural substances that have been "potentized" (meaning the energy of the substance has been activated and released) to gently correct the underlying causes of your symptoms.

why not self prescribe?

You’ve probably seen homeopathic remedies for sale at local health food stores. So why not just pick one up? Improper self-prescription can aggravate your original complaint or suppress your underlying condition. Accurate remedy prescription involves noting of the entirety of your own condition: mental, physical and emotional combined—which may not be possible to do alone.

Working with a skilled and perceptive homeopath, it is possible to address the underlying, complex roots of ill health.

When you come to me for a homeopathic consultation, I conduct an in-depth analysis to understand the totality of you and the uniqueness of your presenting symptoms. Deep constitutional remedy recommendation is based on listening with a trained ear, while providing a supportive and safe environment. Because it is important to understand you completely, the initial consultation lasts approximately two to three hours.

The information gathered in the initial session helps to determine a single remedy recommendation that is tailor-made for you, that will stimulate your healing process and that will restore balance in body and mind.

After a remedy has been recommended, a follow-up visit is scheduled for one month later. This visit serves to assess the progress and action of the remedy and to determine whether it is necessary to repeat the dose, change its potency or alter the remedy.

I encourage patients to contact me between visits to monitor the remedy’s action and to assure an optimal healing response.

Telephone Consultations: Telephone consultations are best reserved for cases where no constitutional remedy is recommended. Such cases may be for urgent and acute ailments and complaints.

Telephone consultations for constitutional case-taking is not recommended. Sound clinical homeopathy involves a visual regard of the patient. Nonverbal cues play an integral role in remedy selection. However, telephone consultations can be arranged for long distance cases, as long as you understand the limitations of this form of practice. In such cases, often both I and patients have benefited from "Skype," a free internet video-phone service that allows for a form of face-to-face interview. If you elect to explore telephone consultation for your case due to distance from Timothy, please be sure you have gone to Skype.com and downloaded the current version of the software. Prior to service, have a web-cam installed to your computer and have the cam linked to the Skype service you have installed.

Fees:

Initial Constitutional Remedy Intake: $450

When finding your initial constitutional remedy, the intake session can anywhere from one and a half to three hours. It covers the history of your chief complaint, its modalities and sensation/energetic expression. The fee for this service also includes brief, individual telephone consultations between visits and re-taking of your case, should that be necessary in the future. The cost of the remedy is included in your initial visit.

Constitutional Follow-Up Visit: $70

Face-to-face follow-up visits are critical for successful homeopathic treatment. Each session is up to an hour in length and it includes additional doses of your remedy, should that be necessary.

Acute-Care Telephone Consultation: $30

Should you find yourself experiencing an acute ailment, discomfort or complaint, these can usually be resolved with a phone consultation, which will include remedy recommendation and referral to your local homeopathic pharmacy.
